Already lent in the previous season by Lierse, Karim Hafez will again evolve with Lens this season. The Red and Gold agreed with the Belgian club to welcome again the 21-year-old Egyptian international on loan. This is the 7th recruit this summer for the Racing Club of Lens

The Egyptian defender had already played at RCL during the 2016-2017 season where he played 23 Ligue 2 matches under the direction of Alain Casanova. His late return is due to the long negotiations between the Racing Club of Lens and the Belgian club of Lierse, which holds the rights of the player. Too greedy for a direct transfer (2 to 3 million euros requested), the Lierse finally accepted a new loan of one year without option to buy.

Despite these misadventures, the artesian player is indeed back and he displayed his joy on the social network Instagram: "It is with great joy that I announce my return to the RC Lens. I am very happy to join the team and I hope a fantastic season that we go up in Ligue 1 all together. Thank you. "

sofian kiyineSofian Kiyine is probably the beautiful discovery of the the Francophony games. The young Moroccan of Chievo Verone, trained at the Academy JMG of Lierse in Belgium, he showed great capacities, but it is above all his extraordinary technique that pleasantly surprised the Moroccans.

The young player from Chievo (Serie A) showed that he had nothing to envy from the big ones. Even his sense of scoring and his vision of the game are remarkable. Born in Belgium, he never hesitated to wear the jersey of the national team from the first call addressed to him by the national youth coaches
